I've been thinking a lot lately about possible capstone topics now that I'm back in school. My department back home asked me to come up with possible topics based on the things that I've been seeing, and since I just got back from traveling I feel like this is probably the best time to talk about this if any. I'm thinking about doing something that involves Japan's traveling industry because I've always had an interest with that. I would love to work for a travel agency in the future or work in a job that allows me travel. It just amazes me how affordable it is to travel in Japan even if you fly. The budget airline companies saved me so hard while I was traveling over this last spring break and even then it's super easy to get around with overnight buses and trains. I'm getting off topic, but another thing that I'm considering doing for my capstone is homeless culture in Japan and the US and comparing the two. After going to Shibuya a few times since I've been here, I can honestly say that that is the only spot where I've seem homeless people in Japan. If neither of those topics work out though, I'll probably just do something about the eating and drinking culture here¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
