My first month in Japan has been an interesting one. I feel like I have to primarily talk about my day one Journey now or I'll never be able to get it off of my chest. So I kind of didn't have a place to sleep for my first 24 hours here in Japan and spent the entirety of my first day walking around. Blew out two wheels on my biggest suitcase and ended up staying the night in a love hotel? Pretty sweet deal I know, but the food around the love hotel was actually pretty delicious. I think I need to learn to plan better, hopefully this will be the worst of my Japan life experiences. I had no WiFi and no way to find a new hotel even after my stay at the love hotel, but thankfully I could communicate enough with a taxi driver who took me to a place with decent WiFi. All in all, my first couple of days were pretty rough, but looking back at it now it's an awesome story to tell. Classes are going good and I'm finally beginning to think that all the time I spent studying Japanese will come in useful. I hope the next month is as good as this one.
My list of things that I want to do in Japan:
